The two-time Tony Award winning show follows Mary Todd Lincoln, in the weeks leading up to her husband, Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. She is miserable, suffocating and unbearably hilarious, as she staggers through life as a First Lady with a bottle, dreaming of her calling to the stage.

American performer and writer, Cole Escola, originated the role on Broadway, as well as writing the dark comedy now known for the belter laugh-out-loud moments. In one-act the show guarantees zero historical accuracy, and one-hundred-percent chaos; perfect for Tate’s return to the stage since her role in The Enfield Haunting in 2024 at the Ambassadors Theatre.
