Many Lion King reviews do recommend that you try and get an aisle if sat in the Stalls so you can get the best views of the animals coming down the aisles.

And the critics? CHARLES SPENCER of THE DAILY TELEGRAPH" says, "For once a mega musical lives up to the hype. This is a dazzling show with the heart of a lion." NICHOLAS DE JONGH of THE EVENING STANDARD says, "A beautiful dazzle of invention and imagination." BENEDICT NIGHTINGALE of THE TIMES says, "Wonder of African jungle is show worth catching." PETER HEPPLE of THE STAGE says, "This stage version of the Disney animated film is a spectacular delight."

Ten years on at it's 10 anniversary the critics still had pletny to praise about the show with the Stage commenting, "There is enough jaw-dropping theatrical spectacle in The Lion King to tickle even the most hardened theatre critic’s palate. As the procession of … read moreanimals makes its way down the aisle at the beginning or the cast controls a flight of coloured birds across the auditorium after the interval, you really are transported thousands of miles away from the Strand on a drizzly London night to the primary colours and vegetation of the Africa Savannah...”
