The Olivier and Tony Award-winning production of The 39 Steps continues its riotous run at the Criterion Theatre London.

Based on John Buchan's classic novel and Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps, this hilarious comedy stars just four actors who play 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun.

Nothing has been cut from this hilarious and spectacular version of Britain's most spell -binding thriller, The 39 Steps with legendary scenes include the chase on the Flying Scotsman, the escape on the Forth Bridge, the first theatrical bi-plane crash ever staged and the death-defying (or nearly!) finale at the London Palladium!

With four actors playing a minimum of one hundred and thirty nine roles, The 39 Steps as been described as  “Very funny” (Time Out ) and “Hilarious” (Sunday Express).

★★★★“Very funny” Time Out

★★★★ “Hilarious” Sunday Express

The play was fun and well-done. Great fun for our teenager and under-10 kid as well.

Great performance and wonderful stage craft. My little boy learnt a lot he could use in his LAMDA exams. The seats in row J 21 22 did not afford the best view but a booster for my10 year old son (kindly brought by the usher after witnessing his difficulties) solved the problem!
