Much Ado About Nothing is back on the West End!
Do not miss this winter's season of two great Shakespeare's plays at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
One of the most popular Shakespeare's comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, is a comedy of much wit and humour.
The central characters of Don Pedro, Benedick and Beatrice, Leonato and Hero often have the best intentions with others - to help them fall in love and be happy, however, these attemps often end up a failure, or even more, as a source of confusion and deception.
The play has been very popular since its first publication and has been staged dozens of times. The likes of John Gielgud, Derek Jacobi, Mark Rylance (who has both acted and directed the play), Tamsin Greig and Zoë Wanamaker have appered in the leading roles. Now you will have a chance to see by yourself why this play is indeed one of the finest Shakespearian commedies.

Really enjoyed the play. Great fun. Having seen several versions of the play i thought the exchanges between Beatrice and Benedict were softer than some other versions and would have lokeed a bit more sharpness, but overall brilliant evening.

A wonderful production funny, sad and beautiful .Excellent performances from actors and the slapstick was hysterical.

Very inventive production of a crazy play. Great set, great ideas for fooling around and elaborating. Only criticism was Beatrice's voice. Spoke to fast (made it funnier) and too squeaky for these old years. I only understood about 50% of her dialogue. And the theatre got much too hot and stuffy.
Very, very good production. Some over acting, but others may like that.

If I could give it more stars, I would. It was amazing. The actors are terrific and they know how to sing very well, and the set was beautiful. I can't think of anything that I didn't like, honestly. It was really funny and entertaining.
