In celebration of the 200th Birthday of The Old Vic, the acclaimed Paines Plough production of Sea Wall, by Simon Stephens and performed by Andrew Scott, will play at The Old Vic from Mon 18 until Sat 30 Jun.

Sea Wall was written by Simon Stephens as a stage play for Andrew Scott and first performed at the Bush Theatre in 2008 and subsequently performed at the NT Shed in 2013 and the Project Arts Centre, Dublin Theatre Festival in 2015.
Andrew Scott is a multi-award winning actor, including Olivier Awards, IFTA and BIFA awards. His stage work has long garnered accolades and he gained wide recognition for his portrayal of Moriarty in the BBC drama Sherlock.

Andrew Scott is to reprise his role in Simon Stephens' Sea Wall at The Old Vic this summer
It has just been confirmed that award-winning Irish actor Andrew Scott is set to star in critically acclaimed monologue Sea Wall, which was written by English playwright Simon Stephens. The new Old Vic Theatre production was originally performed by Scott at the Bush Theatre in 2008 and he has expressed his excitement in returning to the role of Alex in this one-man play.
