Bob Harms

Bob Harms is a professional actor who has been in numerous theatre shows to date. He is currently playing Happy Man/Mr Thompson in Pretty Woman: The Musical.



Bob trained at the Arts Educational School, Tring.


His credits in theatre include playing Harrison in Walter Bobbie’s Chicago in the National tour (2003); Spirit of Fosse in Walter Bobbie’s Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre (2004); understudy Ren & Chuck in Karen Bruce’s Footloose at the Novello Theatre (2006); Lyle and understudy Ren and Chuck in Karen Bruce’s Footloose in the National tour (2007); ensemble in James Powell’s Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre (2008); understudy Otto and Blick in Timothy Sheader’s Imagine This at the New London Theatre (2008); understudy Tick in Simon Phillips’s Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert at the Palace Theatre (2009 -10); Larry Hastings in Paul Foster’s Bells Are Ringing at the Union Theatre (2010); understudy Leading Player and Charlemagne in Mitch Sebastian’s Pippin at the Menier Chocolate Factory (2011); Fletcher and understudy Baker in Braham Murray’s Wonderful Town at the Royal Exchange Manchester and the National tour (2012); understudy Caiaphas in Laurence Connor’s Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour (AEG, 2012); ensemble in Maria Friedman’s Merrily We Roll Along at the Harold Pinter Theatre (2013); Dr Grimwig in Daniel Evans’ Oliver! at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre (2013); Ship Captain in Daniel Evans’ Anything Goes at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre (2013); Ship Captain in Daniel Evans’ Anything Goes at the Sheffield Crucible (2014); Ephraim in Rachel Kavanaugh’s Seven Brides For Seven Brothers at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre (2015); Steven Baker/Jim Greene in Daniel Evans’ Showboat at the Sheffield Crucible (2015) and Frankie in Anna Linstrum’s Jackie the Musical in the UK tour (2016) among others.


He played a part in London Road.


Bob was Dad/backing vocalist in Kate Bush: Before The Dawn (2014).
