Matt Krzan

Matt Krzan is a professional and experienced London-based theatre artist. He is famous not only for his roles on the stage but also for his performances on screen.

 

Training:

He went to The London Studio Centre for his training.

Theatre:

Matt has worked extensively in theatre, amassing a long list of credits to his name. His West End credits include Swing, u/s Witch’s Father in Wicked at the Apollo Theatre; Swing, Young Bernadette, u/s Farah in Priscilla Queen of the Desert; Swing, dance captain and u/s Joseph Smith in The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre; Munkustrap, u/s Bustopher Jones, Gus in Cats at the London Palladium; Fogarty, Judge in Chicago as the Phoenix Theatre; Guard, First Cover Reuben in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium, and Rudolpho in Matilda at The Cambridge Theatre.

Among his other theatre credits is Ensemble in the Original UK Tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Alternate Electra in Starlight Express in Scandinavia and the UK Tour; Macavity, Admetus, y/s Munkustrap and Tugger in Cats in its UK Tour as well as Italy; Swing, dance captain and u/s Fred CAsely in Chicago in its UK Tour; Ensemble, u/s Tick and Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert in its UK Tour; Munkustrap, u/s Bustopher Jones, Gus and dance captain in the international tour of Cats.

Film:

He has also worked in famous Hollywood movies like Jack and the Giant Slayer by Warner Brothers, where he played a foot solider, and in Captain America: The First Avenger by Marvel Studios, where he was a ship helmsman.

TV:

Matt can be seen as Cagelle in La Cage aux Folles on Comic Relief; Queen of the Desert on The Alan Titchmarsh Show; Lars in Priscilla; The Royal Variety Performance, and BBC’s The Greatest Dancer.
