About Cats
From the Euston Station to the hidden corners of Victoria Grove, the strays, dreamers, and rebels of the city come together under the shimmering moon for the most magical night of the year - the Jellicle Ball. Each cat tells their story, each one daring to ask the same question: who will be chosen to journey to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new Jellicle life?
Based on T.S. Eliot’s beloved Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Cats is one of the most iconic musicals of all time, brought to life with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s unforgettable score. Featuring legendary songs including “Old Deuteronomy”, “Macavity: The Mystery Cat”, “Jellicle Ball”, and the global hit “Memory”, this dazzling show combines breathtaking choreography, spectacular design, and timeless music to celebrate life, hope, and the power of storytelling.

Review: Cats At The London Palladium
Cats at the London Palladium is a musical unlike any other. The show is based on the poems of T.S. Eliot, and brought to life by the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber and the choreography of Gillian Lynne. Cats does not in any way follow the trends of a standard musical: it is led by style, not plot, and at times seemed more like a show-case than a show. Whilst the music sometimes jarred a little, the choreography of this production was spectacular. If you are looking for an absolute visual feast, then Cats is most definitely the musical for you. If you are looking for more traditional West End music and a clear plot, you perhaps ought to to go elsewhere.

The Memory Lives Again! Cats At The London Palladium
I don’t know if I’m in the minority with my opinion here but I absolutely adore everything about Cats. I first fell in love with the show a lifetime ago when I was captivated by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s fantastic music on the original London cast album and the wonderful performances of the filmed stage performance. So naturally, you can imagine my excitement when Nicole Sherzinger stepped into Grizabella’s boots last Christmas at the Palladium – her performance wowed me so much that I saw her in the role twice and as soon as I found out that Beverley Knight would be taking on the role when the show returned to the Palladium for a limited 11 week run this Christmas, I was equally as excited. But is this show as good this year as it was last? And if you saw last year’s run of Cats at the London Palladium, do you really need to go and see it again?

Review: Cats At The London Palladium Starring Beverley Knight
Over 30 years since it first opened and became a worldwide phenomenon, Cats has made a triumphant return to the West End for a limited run at the London Palladium, reminding the world of the British knack for creating theatrical titans like this one. It’s one thing to have a stellar creative team such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Trevor Nunn and Gillian Lynne, but it’s something else to assemble a cast that can pull off this technically challenging production with the grace of … well, a feline. On Bonfire Night, these talented performers set the theatre on fire with the help of incredible choreography, score and design.

REVIEW: The Cats West End Revival Is A True Musical Phenomenon
Given that Andrew Lloyd Webber’s mega musical returned to the West End after 12 years as something of a stop gap following the failure of Harry Hill’s I Can’t Sing at the London Palladium, it’s good to see the public have once again taken the show to their hearts as they did back in the 1980s when it opened and started a run that lasted for 20 years.
