Rachael Wooding biography Born in 1979, Rachael Wooding is musical theatre performer from Harlington, Doncaster. She is a Mezzo-soprano who appeared on the 2016 Britain’s Got Talent and made it to the semi-finals. She started her musical career in Germany in shows like Starlight Express and Cats. After her success in the West End, performing in shows such as Fame and Saturday Night Fever, she joined the original London cast of Hairspray the Musical as Amber. After leaving the role in 2008, she took on the title role in Evita the Musical on its UK tour. Training: Rachael trained at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts.
