Sejal Keshwala

Sejal Keshwala is a professional actress, songwriter, session vocalist and concert artist living in London. She is the co-founder and Musical Director of Divalution, a musical group of three vocalists who travel the world singing pop, soul and musical theatre in their own style. In 2018, she wrote and sang Light Up The Room Superdrug “Feel Good” Marie Curie campaign. Sejal is currently playing Ray’s character in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in West End.

 

Training:

She attended Newcastle University and Guildford School of Acting, acquiring a Ba in Music and an MA in Musical Theatre.

Theatre:

Her work in theatre includes Company at the Phoenix Arts, Bernstein’s Mass at the Southbank Centre, WhatsOnStage Awards at the Prince of Wales Theatre, Destiny’s Child Re:Imagine and Fugees: The Complete Re-Score with the Rogue Symphony, My Fair Lady 60th Anniversary Concert (Alex Parker Productions), Trident Moon at the Finborough Theatre, Anita And Me at the Birmingham Repertoire, Bend It Like Beckham at the Phoenix Theatre, West End, and was a backing vocalist for Kimberly Walsh. While training, she was in The Baker’s Wife, Fiddler On The Roof and Into The Woods.

TV:

Sejal has worked in a few popular television programmes like Search For A Musical Theatre Performer (BBC Wales), Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel (ITV), Michael McIntyre’s Very Christmassy Christmas Show (ITV) and Britain’s Got Talent as a backing vocalist (ITV).

Radio: She was the Dynamic Vocals in BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night.

Recordings: Her skills in singing led her to sing in various shows as well as recordings. She was part of the original cast album of Bend It Like Beckham, lead vocalist for Superdrug Feel Super campaign and featured vocalist in Amazon Christmas advert 2018.
