Soophia Foroughi

Soophia Foroughi is a singer and actress based in London. She is currently involved with the original London cast of The Prince Of Egypt, playing an ensemble/first cover Queen Tuya and first cover Yocheved.

 

Training:

She received training from the London School of Musical Theatre.

Theatre:

Soophia has worked extensively on the stage. Her theatre credits include her appearing as the lead vocalist in Belinda King’s Maiden Voyage Queen Victoria (2008); choir in Rewind – A Cantata For Voice, Tape And Testimony at the Royal Festival Hall – Metro Voices (2010); vocalist in Thursford Christmas Spectacular (2010); Magdalena in Bernarda Alba at the Union Theatre (2011); Burelli Sister in The Rat Pack, Live From Vegas at the Wyndham’s Theatre (2012); featured vocalist in the UK tour of Michael Ball: Both Sides Now at Live Nation (2013); featured vocalist in Michael Ball Sings The Musicals – Abu Dhabi at Live Nation (2013); lead vocalist in Era at the Kremlin State Palace, Universal Music France (2013); Frau Zeller in The Sound Of Music at the Qatar National Convention Centre, Doha (2014); Renee/first cover Muriel in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (2015); Rhoda in White Christmas at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre (2015); guest singer in Russell Watson – Songs From The Heart in the UK tour (2016); Lady of the Lake in Spamalot at The English Theatre Frankfurt (2016); Elena in Tiger Bay The Musical at the Wales Millennium Centre/Cape Town Opera (2017); Mother in Broken Wings at the Theatre Royal Haymarket (2018) and the Middle East tour (2019).

Concerts:

Being an adept singer, she has been part of many concerts, some of which is the album launch concert of Louise Dearman – Here Comes The Sun (2012), Josh Groban All That Echoes Arena Tour at the O2 Area (2013), Wonderful Town – London Symphony Orchestra (2017) and numerous others.
