Zizi Strallen

Sylphide Charity Vaigncourt-Strallen, popularly known as Zizi Strallen is a British dancer, singer and actress. Born 1st November 1990, Zizi is famous for playing the role of Mary Poppins in the theatrical production of Mary Poppins by Cameron Mackintosh.

Zizi appeared as Meg Kincaid in the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Merrily We Roll Along (Off West End) in 2013. In 2017, she was a part of Follies (West End) where she played the role of Young Phyllis. She was seen as Fran in Strictly Ballroom at the Piccadilly Theatre in 2018.

Strallen took on the lead role in Mary Poppins (West End revival) at Prince Edward Theatre in 2019. Previously, she portrayed the character of Marry Poppins in the UK and Ireland tour that began in October 2015.

 

Training:

She went to The Arts Educational School, London Studio Centre.

Theatre:

Her theatre credits include Rock of Ages (Original London Production, 2011); Merrily We Roll Along (Menier Chocolate Factory Production, 2012); Follies (National Theatre Premiere, 2017); Strictly Ballroom (Original West End Production, 2018) and Marry Poppins (West End Revival, 2019).

Additionally, she has worked as Zaneeta in The Music Man (Chichester Festival Theatre); Ensemble in Dirty Dancing (Aldwych); Betty in Cinderella (Sadlers Wells and Word tour); Juvenile Ensemble in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Palladium); Kathy Cratchitt in Scrooge (Palladium); Juvenile Ensemble in Dick Whittington (Sadlers Wells); Company in A Christmas Carol: Ballet (Royal Festival Hall); Tessie in Annie (Victoria Palace) and Company in The Herbal Bed (Royal Shakespeare Company).

TV:

Zizi has made appearances as Phoebe in Dinotopia (Hallmark); Princess Vicky in Victoria & Albert (ITV); Molly Marsham in Bramwell (ITV); Margery in The Prince & The Pauper (BBC) and Dancer in X-Factor (ITV).
