Frank Skinner – The Comedian
Frank Skinner began his career on high stakes when he took a gamble and with the last of his money headed to the notorious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He later returned and won The Perrier Award; beating top comedians Jack Dee and Eddie Izzard to the prize. Before his 2019 tour of Showbiz, he last toured in 2014 with Frank Skinner: Man in a Suit which was also a critically acclaimed, sold-out show; including a sold-out return to the place it all started; the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As well as his stand up shows, Frank is a television presenter, radio presenter and an author. He’s popularly known for hosting BBC One’s Room 101 and for his award-winning show on Absolute Radio. He has also recently written his first play, Nina’s Got News, which was staged at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Frank Skinner: Showbiz
For the first time in five years, Frank Skinner is back with a live stand-up show. His sell-out tour this year, 2019, has been hugely acclaimed and will see the West End run of Showbiz at the Garrick Theatre follow suit and be a huge sell-out. The one-hour show is guaranteed to be very, very funny with the perfect balance of storytelling and one-liners. His humour is as witty and topical as ever, ensuring laughter from start to finish. His reputation remains intact after another smash-hit stand up show that will be the perfect cure for January blues so be sure to get your Frank Skinner: Showbiz tickets whilst you can!

Frank Skinner is still a brilliant stand up comic. His time on stage just flew by with non-stop blaughs and loads of laugh out loud anecdotes and quips. He had a brilliant warm-up/support act Pierre Novellie, originally from South Africa, but grew up in the Isle of Man. Great seats with a great view. Really enjoyable evening!!

We bought 2 partial view tickets and when we got to the seat's one was obscured by a post in front of the chair. The so called theatre Manager was diplomatic and reluctantly apologising but offered nothing to listen to our complaint and had a cheesy grin on her face when nothing could be done or offered. I know the tickets were bought late and we wanted the stalls and they appeared to be good value although we would have paid for the better tickets if they were available. Not even any sort of goodwill gesture was offered, it was nearly embarrassing to sit behind a dirty great big pillar where no seat should have been fixed. Thanks Garrick Theatre not

Brilliant show at a lovely theatre, all staff work really hard, are happy to help and very professional.
Frank was great but the theatre was so hot! We were in row S of the stalls. Everyone was feeling the heat. Even though I’d dressed appropriately in layers for the cold weather outside and being warm inside, we were all very hot. It’s an old theatre, I get that but lord knows what it would be like in the heat of summer ??????

Fabulous evening, laughter from beginning to end
Very funny. Relaxed delivery which was enjoyable after a days work. So quick witted and spontaneous. Very topical and up to the minute. Only spoilt by someone recording him in the front row. Should have been chucked out!
