Affordable Natalia Osipova: Pure Dance Sadler's Wells tickets available now!
Following on from critically acclaimed appearances in both Lyon and New York, Natalia Osipova brings her phenomenal Pure Dance back to London's Sadler's Wells.
Presenting a hand-picked programme, the Royal Ballet principal is set to perform a selection of contemporary and classical works that include The Leaves are Fading by Antony Tudor and the newly extended Six Years Later by Roy Assaf, Joining Natalia Osipova on the West End stage will be American Ballet Theatre principal David Hallberg, who is poised to present a specially commissioned solo devised by Kim Brandstrup.
It has also been announced that this unique programme will also include a new duet choreographed and danced by Jason Kittelberger with Osipova. The new duet entitled Left Behind is heavily influenced by its Rachmaninov soundtrack and plays with the idea that the impact an individual has had on another's life can not be fully realised until that person is gone.
The programme includes an original solo for Osipova created by Yuka Oishi, Ave Maria, following Oishi’s win of the Rolf Mares Prize for Outstanding Creation of the Year alongside Orkan Dann in 2012. Special guest, American Ballet Theatre Principal David Hallberg, performs a specially-commissioned solo In Absentia, choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Kim Brandstrup.
In addition to performing a pas de deux from Antony Tudor’s The Leaves Are Fading, one of the last works by the British choreographer, Osipova and Hallberg will also perform the duet Valse Triste, which is a new commission by Alexei Ratmansky who is an artist in residence at the American Ballet School.
The company is completed by Jonathan Goddard who joins Natalia Osipova in Flutter. This piece was choreographed Iván Pérez, who won the Rose D'Or and Golden Prague for BalletBoyz’ Young Men and is set to music by Nico Muhly.
This highly anticipated encore of Pure Dance is only at the West End's Sadler's Wells for a limited time. Book your tickets to Pure Dance early while stocks last!

My Partner absolutely adores Natalia Osipova and was absolutely amazed at Natalia's performance. We went both Friday and Saturday and though the performance and dances were the same we thoroughly enjoyed both nights. Natalia's skill is truly spectacular, She very kindly spared some time after the show at the back stage door to talk to my Partner and sign photos and the programme. Thanks Natalia you are a lovely kind woman.

Poor selection of ‘pure dance’ especially the first one in second half - bumping shoulders together is not ‘dance.’ I Travelled from Bristol to see Natalia and was disappointed. Please provide top class, international, excellence.

The show was full of really original material blending traditional and new art & dance forms. It was a pleasure to what each ‘act’ and the style was really refreshing. Having a break between each dance routine allowed us to savour each one with its unique attributes and emotional pulls!

A wonderful evening of a dancer who is breathtaking, sensual and sensitive in both modern and classical dance.

Natalia Osipova is undeniably a beautiful dancer. Unfortunately the contemporary dance pieces looked more like improvisations on stage. A rather disjointed and fragmented programme. Too many breaks. Travelled a long way to see this and it was disappointing.

Interesting but all those pauses was new for me and I could not really feel a consistency and connect, I was sitting to far also could not see their faces and expressions. Live music would be a plus ;)
