Following their hit run on Broadway, Playful Productions introduce the West End run for Harold Pinter's No Man's Land starring Ian McKellen as Spooner and Patrick Stewart as Hirst. We are excited about their return to the UK stage in Sean Mathias’ acclaimed production of No Man’s Land, one of the most brilliantly entertaining plays by Nobel Prize laureate Harold Pinter.
Owen Teale stars as Briggs and Damien Molony as Foster.

★★★★ "They are lions of the stage and they roar in this alternately icily restrained and ferocious account of human beings hurtling towards the void..." - The Stage
★★★★ "Ian McKellen gives an acting masterclass" - Radio Times
‘You are in no man’s land. Which never moves, which never changes, which never grows older, but which remains forever, icy and silent'
From the pen of one of our greatest playwrights, comes Nobel Prize laureate Harold Pinter's superb tragicomic gem.
One summer’s evening, two ageing writers, Hirst and Spooner, meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking into the night at Hirst’s stately house nearby. As the pair become increasingly inebriated, and their stories increasingly unbelievable, the lively conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister younger men.
No Man’s Land will have set and costume design by Stephen Brimson Lewis and lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski.
Don’t miss this rare treat of four master actors in Pinter’s comic classic and book your tickets now!
