Betty Blue Eyes is an original musical that has received rave reviews from the critics.  The show by Cameron Mackintosh will give it's last performance in the West End on 24th September at the Novello Theatre.

TV favourite swaps the cobbles of Coronation Street for a talking pig on the West End stage at the Novello Theatre in Betty Blue Eyes.

Betty Blue Eyes starring Sarah Lancashire and Reece Shearsmith opened officially last night at the Novello Theatre after previews and the critics say that Cameron Mackintosh has produced a winner.  Here are the reviews from the press:

The world-premiere run of Betty Blue Eyes, a new musical based on the British film comedy "A Private Function" that was originally scripted by Alan Bennett, began at the West End's Novello Theatre on 19th March prior to the official opening on 13th April.  Betty Blue Eyes is Cameron Mackintosh's first new musical production in over 10 years.
