He’s joined by stand-up comedian, sitcom star and Taskmaster contestant, Mawaan Rizwan. Now in its 51st year, you should probably know what the show is about by now. Following a critically acclaimed (ski) season at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Paltrow parody is crashing into the Criterion Theatre this Autumn! X Factor icon and West End star, Diana Vickers (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice), stars as gwynspirational Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow. She is joined by Olivier award nominee Marc Antolin (Terry), BBC New Talent Hotlister Tori Allen-Martin (Kristin) and Shiz University alumni Idriss Kargbo (Judge Jude).  The fast-paced musical sees two worlds collide (literally) when a beautiful A-Lister and a retired optometrist go head to head in an Ohio courtroom. Packed full of iconic moments, including the now famous whisper of ‘I wish you well’ (well, the title kind of gives it away) – this farcical production sounds as good as Gwyneth’s candle smells. Award winning comedian, Mawaan Rizwan would like to take us on a strange journey. Best known for creating and starring in the BAFTA winning comedy, Juice, Mawaan will be taking on the iconic role of The Narrator in the West End production of The Rocky Horror Show. He will star opposite the previously announced Jason Donovan, who reprises his critically acclaimed role as Dr Frank-n-Furter. Blending cultural insights with absurdist comedy, Mawaan first gained attention through his YouTube channel, where his quirky and offbeat sketches "How Gay Is Pakistani TV?" and "Mawaan & Friends," quickly garnered a significant cult following. On the slightly bigger screen, Mawaan went on to star in Sex Education and Taskmaster, where his chaotic and joyful approach quickly made him a fan favourite.

The Rocky Horror Show is returning to the London stage this autumn. Richard O’Brian’s hugely legendary rock musical is heading to The Peacock Theatre as part of its world tour. Opening on 10th October 2021, the production will star Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba as Brad and will be directed by Christopher Luscombe.

Richard O'Brien will return to the West End to star in The Rocky Horror Show, producers have announced. The show will return for a limited run at London's Playhouse Theatre from 11 - 19 September, 2015 preceding a UK tour set to open at the Theatre Royal Brighton on 17 December, 2015.
