Tilly No-Body: Catastrophes of Love London Tickets

Tilly No-Body confronts toxic relationships, co-dependency and the silencing of women’s voices. Written and performed by Bella Merlin, based on her own lived experience surviving coercive domestic violence.

What is Tilly No-Body About?

Tilly No-Body: Catastrophes of Love is a true story of love, survival and transformation. In a deserted circus, the true story of actress Tilly Wedekind unfolds in a heartrending performance of virtuosic storytelling.

Controlled by her husband, Frank Wedekind, known for his work Spring Awakening, which later became a hit Broadway musical – takes away Tilly’s acting roles. Reducing her to no voice, and nobody. Determined to recover from her breakdown, she escapes the relationship and reclaims her career. She rewrites the narrative, asserting her identity on her journey of personal triumph.
