Battersea Arts Centre is housed in the former Battersea Town Hall built in 1893. The venue was damaged by a fire during renovations in 2015, though the majority of the centre was saved and remains open. The theatre was founded in the early 1980s. The venue is known for presenting musicals and plays alike including Jerry Springer The OperaJackson's Way and The Masque of the Red Death.
