Manaia Glassey-Ohlson

Manaia Glassey-Ohlson is a professional actor based in London. He is currently performing at the West End’s Victoria Palace Theatre, appearing as a Swing in Hamilton.

 

Training:

He attended the Whitireia Performance Centre to train in Musical Theatre, graduating in 2013.

Theatre:

Manaia has plenty of experience in musicals. He played Jesus in Godspell during his training (2010), following which he appeared in Hot Toxic Love (fringe) at the Energy Theatre Company (2011), Chorus/Understudy Billie Lawler in 42nd Street at the Wellington Musical Theatre (2011), Chorus/Understudy Seaweed J Stubbs in Hairspray for the Wellington Musical Theatre Company (2012), Raoul in Ken Hill’s Phantom Of The Opera in New Zealand and Tokyo Tour (2013) and Harry in My Fair Lady at the Bath Theatre Royal (2018).

His other work includes performing as a Lead Singer in The Tuxedos Band – Dubai/Abu Dhabi (2013), Lead Soloist in A Night At The Movies at the Rondo Theatre (cabaret, 2018) and Ensemble in A Night At The Movies at the Ronda Theatre, Bath (2018).
