Ghost Quartet tickets in London
This song cycle tells a tale of love, loss and whiskey that twists and turns through the ages. Rose has a problem, she’s in love with a treehouse astronomer. Not only has he betrayed her but with her sister, no less.
As Rose searches for revenge a passing bear might just hold the answer to her problems. He agrees to help, but nothing in this life comes free and his services are going to cost her. His demands number four: a pot of honey, a piece of stardust, a secret baptism and a photo of a ghost.
Her quest to find the items needed to finally have her revenge lead her on a heady journey across continents, through the centuries and into the very cosmos. And though her brain is muddled with the stories, and the songs, and the time (and the haze of whiskey) Rose has a sneaking feeling that she’s been here and done that before.
Cast and Creatives of Ghost Quartet
The cast is comprised of only four actors who take on different roles throughout the show. Maimuna Memon is a singer/song-writer and vocal artist who was in the West End transfer of Lazarus. Zubin Varla is known for his work in Jesus Christ Superstar and the revival of Equus. His role in Fun Home at the Old Vic earned him an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.
Ghost Quartet comes from the Tony Award winning creator of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, Dave Malloy. The show is directed by Bill Buckhurst who has most recently directed the UK tour of a new production of Sister Act, but is undoubtely best known for his pie shop revival of Sweeny Todd which went on to take the West End and Broadway by storm.

Good vibes and wonderful artists bring an amazing performance.
The production was really amazing. We went primarily because Zubin Varla was in it but the rest of the cast held their own superbly well. They were all remarkably talented and versatile - I don't think I've ever seen four people play so many different instruments. The theatre setting was intimate and the cast rapidly built a rapport with the audience (and not just because they dispensed free whisky). My first visit to the Boulevarde Theatre but won't be my last. A perfect venue for small productions, especially those involving the audience.
