What is Hay Fever about?
The Bliss family are anything but conventional. Retired actress Judith Bliss longs for the applause of the stage, while her novelist husband David and their children, Simon and Sorrel, each have their own ideas about how to spend the weekend.
When Judith invites a young admirer to stay at their country home, she is unaware that every member of the Bliss family has invited a guest of their own. As the unexpected visitors descend, the household quickly spirals into chaos, with romantic entanglements, cutting remarks and little regard for social etiquette.
