World wide phenomenom Tango Fire Comapny visits Sadlers Wells' Peacock Theatre for a limited run from 12th to 23rd April with it's brand new show, Flames of Desire.

The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires was formed in 2005 by its producers Andrew Kay & David Vigo and the company premiered Tango Fire in Singapore in April 2005. In August of the same year the show was presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was an instant success. This led to the company touring extensively around the world over the last 6 years. The group choreographies are created by Yanina Fajar with German Cornejo assisting her. The individual couples choreograph their own solos as is traditional in the world of Tango in Argentina. Allowing the couples creative freedom creates a showcase of the 5 couples different styles to make the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires unique in the world of Tango.

He learnt from Emilio Balcarce & Walter Rivers who were both a great influence on his career touring extensively with the Walter Rivers orchestra. He was soloist with the orchestra of the School of Tango in Buenos Aires and has performed at the Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires. Jesus has toured extensively in Japan, Spain, Brazil & Italy. In 2008 he featured on a version of the Argentine National Anthem with Mercedes Sosa.

Set against the musical backdrop of Astor Piazzolla, Mores, Gardel, Rodriguez and other Tango masters. The Boston Globe raves that "rarely has the tempestuous Tango looked like so much exuberant, out-and-out fun as with the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires." Though other Tango shows abound, "Tango Fire Company leaves you burning to take up where they left off," claims The London Paper.

Combining the rawness, sophistication and sexiness of tango, you won’t want to miss this authentic show that will leave you longing for the intoxicating passion of Buenos Aires’ late night dance halls!

30 minutes prior to each performance audiences are invited on the stage for a milonga, a traditional public dance practised in Argentina. Don't miss the passionate and irresistible allure of the Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires.
