Stefano Massini’s The Lehman Trilogy transfers to the London's West End Piccadilly Theatre. Tickets for The Lehman trilogy are available now!
The Lehman Trilogy, which was adapted from the Stefano Massini novel, transfers to the Piccadilly Theatre London next summer. The play first premiered at the National Theatre back in July 2018 and starred Adam Godley, Ben Miles, and Simon Russell Beale, who are all set to reprise their roles for the West End premiere.
The Lehman Trilogy is an exploration of the progress and pitfalls of capitalism leading up to the 2008 financial crisis. The piece follows three generations of the Lehman family, from when the first Lehman emigrated to the United States to the fall of the Lehman Brothers empire. Plagued with “third-generation syndrome,” Lehman Brothers was an investment bank founded by a first-generation immigrant before being forced into bankruptcy by the family’s third generation.
The Lehman Trilogy London cast is set to feature Simon Russell Beale as Henry Lehman, Adam Godley as Mayer Lehman and Ben Miles as Emanuel Lehman. It was adapted into a play by Ben Power from the novel by Italian author Stefano Massini.
