An Act of God David Javerbaum’s sinfully funny play
What started out as a series of tweets turned into a satirical book called The Last Testament: A Memoir By God which in turn became a 90-minute long conversation with God that just happens to take place on the stage. Buckle up because it’s time for God to set the record straight and answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since creation.
The UK premiere of this side-splitting show is expected to leave London audiences begging for more.

When the play returned to Broadway for a limited run the following year, God was played by Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes.

An enjoyable night out that I thoroughly recommend seeing. Zoe Lyons is a great casting choice as God. Her delivery and comic timing enhance a good script with many laugh out loud moments. If the writers, who made a pretty good job of adapting it for a British audience, are still working on it there’s a couple of segments which fall a little flatter and could do with a tweak or two to turn a good script into a truly great one.
Zoe Lyons was amazing and funny as ever

Really funny. Great performance by actors. Was water dripping from the roof, and sometimes noise disturbance. Unsure if this was on purpose. Loved it though.
