Truly terrifying Olivier nominated Ghost Stories returns to the West End

After record-breaking sell-out shows at the Liverpool Playhouse, the Lyric Hammersmith and London’s Arts Theatre, as well as productions in China,  Australia, Canada, Italy & Germany and a smash hit film, the original terrifying live production of Ghost Stories comes to the West End’s Ambassadors Theatre ahead of a planned UK tour.

Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson’s worldwide cult phenomenon combines the best of theatre with the adrenalin of a thrill ride to bring you something truly unique and absolutely riveting and totally terrifying.

The secret is worth keeping so we won’t tell you any more than you’ll be joining  Dr Goodman, a Professor of Parapsychology, for a lecture on people who have had paranormal experiences. That’s all we’ll say for now, but be prepared for shocks, jolts and frights. This show is not for the faint of heart (or those under 15).

Great show, sometimes the sound was painfully loud.

interesting, entertaining and not what I thought

Sue Rock5th January

I have seen this before but didn’t remember it to be so scary. Loved it. Tickets weren’t super expensive so good value as well. Fantastic afternoon.

Luca4th January

Excellent play. Totally recommended.

Jerry4th January

Lovely venue, not very big buy cosy. Sound quality was fantastic. The play itself was very cleverly delivered, with brilliant effects. Found the play better than the movie.

Michelle4th January

Actors very good.

Mitra4th January

Amazingly scary play!! Absolutely loved it. Really amazed at what they managed to do without special effects. Really recommend it.

Mrs Caroline Rendall4th January

I was very disappointed with this show. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this. Apart from some very loud noises & briefly seen (bad) special effects, it was long, drawn out & boring. A performance that was only of about eighty minutes duration felt much longer. I gave it one star for the smells that wafted around during certain scenes, which I thought were quite clever.

This was my fifth visit to the show and it didn't disappoint. Love it!
