What is The Children about?

"Together Hazel and I are going to live forever. On a diet of yoga and yoghurt." 

Hazel and Robin are trying to build a life on the edge of a radiation exclusion zone. Hazel still practises yoga, Robin brews parsnip wine, and together they cling to the routines of everyday life. But when their old friend Rose arrives unexpectedly, she brings with her memories of the past, buried secrets and a proposition that threatens to shatter their fragile sense of normality.

As the three friends confront what happened before the catastrophe, loyalties are tested and difficult truths emerge. The Children is a gripping post-apocalyptic drama about friendship, survival, guilt and responsibility, exploring the choices we make today and our debt to the next generation.
