Cinderella coming to the West End's London Palladium this Christmas!
For the first time in nearly three decades, experience the magic of pantomime this Christmas at the London Palladium with a star-studded production of Cinderella!
Natasha J Barnes (Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, American Idiot, Snow White) who will play the title role of Cinderella, Suzie Chard (pantomime credits in Pinocchio, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty) and Wendy Sommerville (Billy Elliot The Musical, Hairspray, Sweeney Todd and Les Miserábles at the West End) who will play The Wicked Stepsisters complete the casting for the London Palladium Pantomime this Christmas.
They join the previously announced Paul O’Grady (The Wicked Stepmother), Julian Clary (Dandini), Amanda Holden (The Fairy Godmother), Lee Mead (Prince Charming), Paul Zerdin (Buttons), Nigel Havers (Lord Chamberlain) and Count Arthur Strong (Baron Hardup).
Cinderella will run at the London Palladium for five weeks only over the Festive season from Friday 9 December 2016 to Sunday 15 January 2017, with press night on Wednesday 14 December 2016.
The most enchanting rags-to-riches fairy tale of them all graces the stage of the West End’s most famous theatre this Christmas as pantomime returns to the London Palladium for the first time in nearly 30 years.
With an all-star cast, this lavish and spectacular production features sumptuous costumes, magnificent scenery and the unmissable and magical breath-taking moment when Cinderella swaps her rags for a stunning Ball gown and is transported to the Prince’s Ball.
Staged by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Cinderella and its magical rags-to-riches tale will play from 9 December to 15 January.
Co-produced by Qdos' Michael Harrison (Gypsy, Mrs Henderson Presents), and award-winning choreographer Andrew Wright (Mrs Henderson Presents, Singing' In The Rain).
Marking the first pantomime at the iconic London Palladium in 29 years following a long history from 1948 to 1987 of the theatre staging lavish traditional Christmas shows, Cinderella at the London Palladium has been described as a "breath-taking family extravaganza with glittering sets."
