John Malkovich stars in Bitter Wheat
Renowned actor and producer John Malkovich is set to play Barney Fein, a fictional character based on Harvey Weinstein. The highly prolific actor has starred in more than seventy films and is a giant of both stage and screen. A charter member of the iconic Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Malkovich made his Broadway debut playing Biff in Death of a Salesman. The role would land him an Emmy when it was later adapted for television. Malkovich is known for his appearances in such films as Places in the Heart, The Glass Menagerie, and Dangerous Liaisons. He is also a Moliere award-winning director and recently starred alongside Sandra Bullock in the Netflix smash hit, Bird Box, as well as in a 3-part adaptation of Agatha Christie's The A.B.C. Murders, in which he portrayed iconic detective Hercule Poirot.
