Based on Michael Morpurgo's beloved novel, War Horse premiered at the National Theatre's Olivier Theatre in 2007 before transferring to the West End's Gillian Lynne Theatre, where it ran from 2009 to 2016. War Horse went on to tour the UK and around the world before returning to the National Theatre for a limited London run from May to June 2026.
